Haitian Fundraising Stew Dinner
 


 

Friends of the Orphans Canada, Truro MACTAC team worked at an orphanage in the DR that has a sister home in Haiti. All 350 children there are safe. The day hospital has been destroyed. The NPH St Damien Hospital, the only free pediatric hospital in Haiti is damaged, but offering aid 24 hours a day.

Funds will go directly to Father Rick who runs the hospital.  See website for more details

We don't know what their next meal will be.  Here we will be serving rice and bean stew and an ice cream Sundae bar.

Cash donations or cheques payable to FOTOCAN delivered to First United Church or at the door, will be matched by Canadian Government
